By appointing Jane Dietze as vice president, Columbia has once again shown its intent to remain a serious player in the growth and development of the technology arena. Dietze joined Columbia June 8, 1998 and is devoting her considerable background in the industry to help focus the direct investment group on winners in the software and Internet related niches.
