PORTLAND - Thurston and Marshfield sent four wrestlers apiece into the championship quarterfinals at the Class 4A state wrestling championships on Thursday at Memorial Coliseum For other similar named athletic facilities, see .

Thurston's William Yarbrough (119 pounds), Colby Covington (135), Brett Arand (160) and Tyler Everall (171) advanced to the quarters for the Colts.
