Coltec completes sale of Farnam Sealing Systems.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 1996--Coltec Industries (NYSE NYSE

See: New York Stock Exchange : COT) has completed the sale of its Farnam Sealing Systems business to a subsidiary of Meillor S.A. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Farnam, which produces engine, transmission and fuel gaskets, had sales of $47 million in 1995.
