Johnson vice president, sales and marketing, of its Delavan Commercial Products Division, which is in the process of relocating to Monroe, North Carolina Monroe is a city in Union County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 26,228 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Union CountyGR6. Monroe Regional Airport is 5 miles NW of Monroe. .
