Coltec Aerospace signs overhaul pact with Alaska Airlines.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 20, 1997--Coltec Aerospace, a unit of Coltec Industries (NYSE:COT), has been named to overhaul Boeing 737-400 landing gear systems for Alaska Airlines over the next four years. The contract is valued at approximately $3 million.

The overhaul work will be done at Coltec's Menasco Aviation Services state-of-the-art facility in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Alaska Airlines, which serves Alaska, the U.S. west coast, Canada, Mexico and Russia, operates a fleet of Boeing 737-400 airliners that is expected to increase from 22 to 48 by the year 2000.
