The Rocky Mountain State Games RMSG RMSG Rocky Mountain Survival Group (now Survival & Self-Reliance Studies Institute) ) followed immediately thereafter, and became the first State Games in the nation to fully integrate a schedule of competitions for USABA athletes. The RMSG included venues at the U.S. Airforce Academy, U.S. Olympic Complex, Colorado College, Fort Carson, and the World Arena in Colorado Springs, as well as the Denver Athletic Club. USABA athletes competed against sighted competitors within the junior, open, and masters divisions in judo, power lifting, swimming, track and field, a 5 K run/walk, and wrestling. |
