Rotary's international theme for 2001-2002 is: "Mankind is our business." The goals of the new officers are to help all district clubs maintain and increase membership in their Rotary Clubs; increase contributions to the Rotary Foundation, which contributes to projects that improve communities and people's health and well-being all over the world and increase awareness of Rotary to young people that can help develop a legacy of charitable giving.

Rotary is now in 155 countries with approximately 30,000 clubs worldwide and over 1 million members. The goals of Rotary are fellowship among people of all beliefs and service to others in the hopes of creating better communities and world peace.
