 Nursing Association objectives include support for the following: the selection of valid nursing measures that address the full dimensions of the nursing work environment, support for a full survey of nursing including job satisfaction, implementation of processes that will involve nurses in direct care in planning for staffing and that impact at the unit level, public reporting of measures that have meaning and utility for the public, steps to address the faculty nursing shortage, and promotion of Magnet magnet: see electromagnet; magnetism.
