Colorado Mills Will Open November 14; Opening Day Expected to Attract Thousands of Shoppers.

Located 10 miles west of downtown Denver, Colorado Mills will serve the residents of the Denver market and visitors to Denver and the Rocky Mountains alike.

With 200 retailers, including manufacturer and retail outlets, off-price retailers, category-dominant stores and exciting dining and entertainment venues, Colorado Mills will change the way Coloradoans view shopping. Shoppers at Colorado Mills will experience a unique blend of shopping and entertainment.

Great retailers such as Last Call from Neiman Marcus (which opens its first store in Colorado), OFF 5TH Saks Fifth Avenue Saks Fifth Avenue is a chain of upscale American department stores that is owned and operated by Saks Fifth Avenue Enterprises (SFAE), a subsidiary of Saks Incorporated. It competes in the elite luxury department store market with Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys New  Outlet, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, Eddie Bauer Outlet, Gart Sports and Borders Books Music Cafe provide shoppers with tremendous variety and outstanding prices.

A Fashion District will include high fashion retailers, such as St. John Outlet, Tod's and Kenneth Cole New York New York, state, United States

On grand opening day, the doors to the center will open at 8:00 a.m. From 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., shoppers can enjoy community entertainment on the Celebration Stage located in the Food Court. Colorado Mills also will be giving away $10,000 worth of Colorado Mills gift certificates.

Winners will be announced during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which kicks off at 9:30 a.m. and features TV personality Mindy Burbano, previously of "Entertainment Tonight," and Terry Shumpert of the Colorado Rockies, as emcees. Stores will open for business from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

For the remainder of Grand Opening weekend, hours are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Colorado Mills is located at 14500 W. Colfax Ave. in Lakewood at the intersection of W. Colfax Ave. and I-70. Regular hours of operation starting Jan. 2, 2003, are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
