Colorado MicroDisplay Names Michael Cherniawski Vice President of Operations; Motorola, AMD Veteran Joins Boulder Microdisplay Maker.

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 2000

Colorado MicroDisplay, Inc. (CMD CMD cerebromacular degeneration. ), a leading developer of high-resolution microdisplay chipsets, today named Michael R. Cherniawski vice president of operations. Cherniawski joins CMD from Motorola's wireless semiconductor operations in Austin, Texas, where he was director of Manufacturing.

Cherniawski has over 19 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with Motorola and AMD (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, www.amd.com) A major manufacturer of semiconductor devices including x86-compatible CPUs, embedded processors, flash memories, programmable logic devices and networking chips. . At Motorola, he was noted internally for his skills in leadership and team building and externally for a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
