Revenues in Cripple Creek for the first three quarters of the 1996 State of Colorado Gaming year, which ends each September, exceeded $70 million. Historically, the majority of state gaming revenues are generated during the last six months of the gaming year. The Double Eagle's 159 room hotel and Lombard's restaurant have been operating to capacity since opening July 26. The hotel has been running at over 90% occupancy weekdays and 100% on the weekends. Future bookings remain constant. The 45,000 square foot casino features 750 slot machines, five black jack tables and is the company's second operating casino in Cripple Creek.
