The announcement was made at the group's annual meeting. In an era of cost cutting in the medical arena, and with an increasingly aged population, home health care is a rapidly growing area, explained Ken Preuss, C.A.M.E.S. president. More and more people are reliant on home health care products when hospitals can no longer accommodate them, he said. The code consists of eight provisions dealing with every aspect of the business owner's dealings with the customer.
