ColorLink, Inc.(R) Hires Jill Thomassian as Vice President of Operations.BOULDER, Colo. -- ColorLink, a technology-driven photonics company, announces the hiring of Jill Thomassian as Vice President of Operations. Her experience includes 13 years in high-volume manufacturing systems design and development. During the course of her career, Jill has been directly responsible for the startup and ramp-up of numerous products and the development of their associated manufacturing facilities and tooling. In her new position at ColorLink, Jill will be responsible for manufacturing development and production operations at ColorLink's Boulder facility. Jill comes to ColorLink from Microfabrica, a high-tech MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical Systems) Tiny mechanical devices that are built onto semiconductor chips and are measured in micrometers. In the research labs since the 1980s, MEMS devices began to materialize as commercial products in the mid-1990s. start-up company. While at Microfabrica, Jill was responsible for the facility and equipment infrastructure required for development of the patented EFAB EFAB Electrochemical Fabrication (micro-device manufacturing technology) EFAB Economic and Financial Analysis Branch (MMS Canada) EFAB Extended Forward Avionics Bay (aviation) [TM] microdevice manufacturing process. In the mid 1990s, Jill served as Program Manager at ATS-Oregon where she managed the design, integration, and profitability of system integration projects for the semiconductor, optics and LCoS industries. Jill began her career at Hewlett-Packard as a Manufacturing Development Engineer in charge of the technology transfer of manufacturing lines to Asia and the implementation of ISO (1) See ISO speed.
