Color fluoropolymers.

This global custom engineered thermoplastic compounder has commercialized a line of melt processable fluoropolymer (MPFP) color masterbatches for the wire and cable industry. These masterbatches are said to provide an easy-to-use solution that is ideal for coloring complex MPFP resins used as plenum space jacketing materials. Available in ten common wire and cable industry color-coding formulations matched to Munsell and RAL 1. RAL - Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (UK).
2. RAL - An expert system.
standards, these MPFP color masterbatches are initially available in fluorinated ethylene propylene FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) is a copolymer of hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene. It differs from the PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) resins in that it is melt-processible using conventional injection molding and screw extrusion techniques.  (FEP See front end processor. ) and oolvvinvlidene fluoride (PVDF PVDF polyvinylidene difluoride ) resin systems and are expandable to include other MPFP resins as needed, according to the company. Standard colors, using RollS compliant pigments, are readily available with worldwide distribution. These color masterbatches maintain fluoropolymers' inherent flame retardancy and low smoke emissions. (RTP)
