(CYX- TSE) reports revenues for the second quarter of $92,000 compared to revenues of $50,000 in the second quarter of 1996. Interest income increased by $48,000 over the April 1996 quarter while oil and gas revenues fell $5,000 due to lower oil prices in the current quarter. Higher general and administration costs were offset by unrealized foreign exchange gains and oil and gas production cost credits. Net income for the second quarter was $22,000 ($0.00 per share) versus a loss of $20,000 ($0.00 per share) in the prior year's quarter. In May 1997 Inco exercised share purchase warrants and acquired 350,000 shares of Colony adding $525,000 to Colony's treasury.
