Colonial Properties Trust Recruits Matt Golden as Senior Vice President of Retail Acquisitions.

) today named Matt Golden as senior vice president of acquisitions for its retail division. Golden brings extensive experience to his new post through a 20-year background in real estate acquisitions.

"Matt's depth of knowledge of the retail industry will bring additional strength to our retail acquisitions team," said Charles Light, executive vice president of the retail division. "We are thrilled that Matt is on board with Colonial Properties and expect that he and his team will bring us many exciting acquisition opportunities soon."

Golden comes to Colonial Properties from First Washington Realty, Inc., where he served as senior vice president and director of acquisitions. Prior to that assignment, Golden worked for GMS Realty, LLC in Carlsbad, Calif., as executive vice president and director of acquisitions and dispositions.
