Lowder announced that the company has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $.22-1/2 per share of Colonial BancGroup common stock. At the quarterly meeting held last week, the board of directors approved payment of dividends on Nov. 14, 1995 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 7, 1995. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1995, the Alabama-based holding company previously reported net income of $10,202,000, a 44 percent increase over the same period in 1994.
