The marriage of Caldwell Gwendolyn Collins and William McKinney William McKinney (17 September, 1895 - 14 October, 1969) was an American jazz drummer who led a series of musical groups, most notably McKinney's Cotton Pickers.

William "Bill" McKinney was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky.
 Israel was celebrated on June 10, 2006, at 6 p.m. at the Cathedral Church of St. Andrew.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Deaver Collins Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Warren Arthur Hiatt and the late Dr. Warren Arthur Hiatt of Magnolia and Dr. and Mrs. Robert Dearer Collins of Nashville, Tennessee. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Calvin Israel Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. William Green Lyle and the late Mrs. Edna Cordts Lyle of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Dr. and Mrs. George Calvin Israel of Conyers, Georgia.

Rev. Ollie Vernell Rencher officiated, and acolytes were Thomas Jones Biggs Allin, Clara Frances Cannon, Selby Ruth McRae, and Alden Marie Wofford.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Vera Wang Collection gown of ivory satin-faced organza or·gan·za

Chinese, Korean, Siamese, and Japanese stoneware decorated with glazes the colour range of which includes greens of various shades, olive, blue, and gray. The colours are the result of a wash of slip (liquefied clay) containing a high proportion of iron that is
 satin with ivory satin ribbons and carried bouquets of lisianthus, sweet peas, roses, orchids, and herbs.

The flower girls were Anna Gale and Mary Chambers Brown, Virginia Kay Vascocu, and Beverley Susan Wade. They wore gowns of ivory organza with sage satin sashes, garlands of herbs, and carried bouquets of sweet peas.

The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Deaver Hiatt Collins, Kevin Michael Davidson, Russell William Ingram Jr., John Lyle Israel, Jonathan Edward Nelson, Bradley Lawrence Oser, Phillip Logan Stevens, Christopher Hull-Ryde Tanner, and Griffin Sinclair Tanner.

Norman Jerome Vascocu IV served as ring bearer. Byron Roos-Collins and Zachary Robert Wells Webster served as pageboys.

Reading the Lessons were Ashley Victoria Jane Mallinson and John David Wofford III.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Country Club of Jackson, where guests enjoyed a seated dinner followed by dancing to the music of Entice.
