Collins & Aikman Corporation (NYSE:CKC) today named N. William Johnson as Vice President, North American Automotive Interior Systems' Ford Business Team. In making the announcement, Steven Jeske, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for North America Automotive Interiors, noted, "The appointment of Johnson to our Sales & Marketing organization will further enhance Collins & Aikman's position to understand our customers' needs and to exceed their expectations. Prior to joining Collins & Aikman, Johnson was Advanced Sales Manager for Lear Corporation's DaimlerChrysler business unit. Previously, he was Commercial Manager for Lear's Ford B Segment Vehicle programs in Europe and Brazil and Core Sales Manager for their carpet and acoustic business in North America. He also held various sales, program management and product manager positions with Masland Industries. Johnson holds a bachelor's of art degree in economics and business administration from Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Mich.
