THE University of Liverpool The University of Liverpool is a university in the city of Liverpool, England. History

The University was established in 1881 as University College Liverpool, admitting its first students in 1882.
 is to establish an international college to prepare students from around the world to take up student places in the city.

Liverpool International College, which will be run by Kaplan International Colleges in close collaboration with the university, will prepare international students for entry to the University's undergraduate and postgraduate postgraduate

The college will be located on the campus of the University of Liverpool which boasts eight Nobel Laureates Winners of the Nobel Prize are scientists, writers and peacemakers who have been awarded in their field of endeavour, and who are known collectively as either Nobel laureates or Nobel Prize winners. .

University of Liverpool vice-chancellor, Professor Drummond Bone, said: "The University of Liverpool has an excellent reputation for research and teaching and is a popular choice for international students. Our affiliation with Kaplan will enable us to widen our opportunities."
