College opens up.Tyne Metropolitan College Tyne Metropolitan College is a large college of further education in North Tyneside. It was formed on 1st March 2005 by the merger of North Tyneside College and Tynemouth College which had different histories. is holding an open day on Thursday to give people advice on courses. The event from 6pm-8pm will also allow people to tour the facilities and meet staff.
