College of Lake County.

The College of Lake County in Grayslake, Ill., has promoted two administrators.

Dr. Jean Kartje was named dean of communication arts, humanities and fine arts. For the past 13 years, Kartje served as executive assistant to the president. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barat College, a master's degree from Webster University and a doctorate from Loyola University in Chicago.

Dr. Denise Anastasio was named dean of biological and health sciences. During her 19 years at CLC, she worked as a health information technology instructor, acting dean of biological and health sciences and special assistant for continuous improvement. She earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a doctorate from Loyola University in Chicago.

Jacqueline Rogers is the new dean of health sciences and occupational programs at Palm Beach Community College in Lake Worth, Fla. Previously, she served as the college's associate dean for health sciences. She has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic College.
