The College of Lake County College of Lake County is a two-year community college in Grayslake, Illinois. The main campus opened in 1967. Satellite campuses are also open throughout Lake County, Illinois. The first president was Christopher B. Smith. Richard W. in Grayslake, Ill., has promoted two administrators.
Dr. Jean Kartje was named dean of communication arts, humanities and fine arts. For the past 13 years, Kartje served as executive assistant to the president. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barat College, a master's degree from Webster University and a doctorate from Loyola University in Chicago.
Dr. Denise Anastasio was named dean of biological and health sciences. During her 19 years at CLC, she worked as a health information technology instructor, acting dean of biological and health sciences and special assistant for continuous improvement. She earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside History
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside was created by an act of the Wisconsin Legislature in 1965. The University was officially founded in July 1968 when it took over two-year UW centers in Kenosha and Racine. and a doctorate from Loyola University in Chicago.

Palm Beach Community College's main campus is located in Lake Worth, Florida. In addition to the Lake Worth campus, the largest (114-acre/51 building complex) and longest established campus (1956), PBCC also serves students at full-service locations in Belle Glade in Lake Worth, Fla. Previously, she served as the college's associate dean for health sciences. She has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic College.
