, chairman, president and commercial director of Prudential CRES Cres (tsərĕs`), Ital. Cherso, island, 158 sq mi (409 sq km), in the Adriatic Sea, W Croatia. Formerly in Austria-Hungary, it passed to Italy in 1918 and to Yugoslavia (of which Croatia was then a constituent republic) in 1947.  Commercial Real Estate (Medford, NY) has been elected to the Board of the Suffolk Community College Foundation.

The announcement comes on the heels of Mr. Elliott's recognition by the Foundation in its "Salute to Excellence 2006" gala in which he was presented with the "Corporate Leadership Award of Excellence".

Suffolk County Community College Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) is a two-year public college sponsored by SUNY and Suffolk County, New York in the USA.

The college has four campuses: The oldest is in Selden, and the other three are in Brentwood, Riverhead and Sayville.

Also reflecting his high standards and professional integrity is Mr. Elliott's portfolio development activities, the hallmark of which has been his fervent dedication to the local community and the enhancement of its quality of life. Upon investing in a property, he quickly analyzes it from a community perspective, considering how he can improve the property to affect a better quality of life for the surrounding communities. He has been effective in renovating scores of shopping centers, industrial and office buildings, transforming them into vibrant real estate holdings.

Further evidence of his commitment to enhancing the region's quality of life is Mr. Elliott's strong belief in the importance of giving back to the community. While modest about his philanthropy, he is none-the-less a dedicated benefactor to several local non-profit organizations including the Hope House Ministries for which he served on the Endowment Committee. For these causes and many others, he makes space available in one of the company's buildings to collect and store donations until they can be disbursed to those in need. On the professional side, he was recently honored by the Prudential Real Estate organization with its prestigious "Roundtable" award recognizing his brokerage firm as the #1 firm in the Northeastern region.
