College Football Fans Have 10 Days to Enter Egghead.com Million Dollar Bowl Challenge.


CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BW SportsWire)--Dec. 8, 1998--College football fans have only 10 days more to enter the Egghead.com Million Dollar Bowl Challenge, presented by the FANSonly Network, www.fansonly.com.

A grand prize of $1 million will be awarded to the contestant who correctly predicts the winners of all 22 college football bowl games and the exact score of the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl The Fiesta Bowl, now sponsored by Tostitos tortilla chips (a Frito-Lay product), is a United States college football game played annually since 1971. Originally, the game was hosted in Tempe, Arizona at Sun Devil Stadium where it remained until 2006. , featuring Tennessee and Florida State on Jan. 4, 1999, in Tempe, Ariz. The contest is sponsored by Egghead.com (Nasdaq:EGGS), a leading Internet retailer.

Fans can register on-line for the contest through Dec. 18, at www.fansonly.com/challenge. Winners will be announced on Jan. 7, 1999.

If no one clains the $1 million grand prize, the most successful prognosticators will win thousands of dollars in gift certificates from Egghead.com.
