College Bound Student Alliance Appoints Vice President of Administration and Information Technology; Mark Eagle Brings over 20 years of Experience to the Company.

LAKEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2002

College Bound Student Alliance, Inc., or "CBSA" (OTCBB:GRAD), a provider of college financial aid and preparation resources, today announced that Mark Eagle will serve as the Company's Executive Vice President of Administration and Information Technology.

Prior to joining CBSA, Mr. Eagle served as Executive VP of Software and Services for Encoda Systems, helping them become the leading worldwide provider of solutions to the broadcast industry. Prior to his tenure at Encoda, he spent 15 years as an executive with Columbine JDS, providing solutions to Advertising Agencies and National Sales organizations. Mr. Eagle was a pioneer in the broadcast industry introducing a business-to-business electronic invoicing solution that is now in use by over 1000 Television stations and all the major advertising agencies. He has also been an entrepreneur, starting his own company which was later merged into an INC 20 growing organization, and he has developed software systems for organizations such as Mensa and Recording for the Blind.

Mr. Eagle graduated with a specialization in computer science, management, and industrial psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he currently serves as the regional manager for college recruiting. He is a founding member of their Information Technology Affinity group and participated in the school's Focus program, where he has helped mentor high school students. He also served on the board of the Rensselaer Medal selection committee, which provides merit scholarships to high school Students, and was on the 5 year strategic planning committee for the Township of Montclair (NJ) Board of Education.
