Collectables opens 11th store.


NORTH East giftware chain Collectables has acquired another new outlet, its second in four months, to bring its tally to 11 stores in the region.

The Collectables store at Dalton Park Dalton Park is a shopping centre in Murton, County Durham. It is built on the site of the former colliery's slag heaps. It is the largest factory outlet style shopping centre in the North East, where branded goods are sold at discounted prices, usually discontinued lines of stock.  shopping centre near Seaham, County Durham “Durham county” redirects here. Collectables stores turned over pounds 12m in 2008 and the company's total turnover for the year came in at pounds 19m.

Collectables North East giftware stores are also in Alnwick, Newcastle, three at the MetroCentre, Sunderland, Stockton and Harrogate. Collectables also owns Collections designer accessories boutique at the MetroCentre and Mandale Fine Furniture at Portrack Lane, Stockton, which it acquired at the end of 2008..
