Collagen Corp. and Chief Executive Officer of Collagen Corp.'s
100% owned subsidiary, LipoMatrix Inc., maker of the
Trilucent(TM) soybean oil-filled breast implant. Since joining
LipoMatrix in 1995, Comte has supervised the development
and manufacture of the Trilucent implant. Prior to joining
LipoMatrix, Comte served as President of the Sulzer Medica
Orthopedics Division of Sulzer, A.G. He brings to Collagen
more than 15 years experience in executive positions of
increasing responsibility in the medical device industry.
-- Becky Stirn has been named Vice President of Global Marketing
Strategy and a Corporate Officer of Collagen Corp. Stirn
brings specific experience in marketing medical devices and
products to physicians and consumers through previous Vice
President of Marketing positions at CooperVision and CEMAX,
and from her work in marketing consulting.
-- Charlene Andros has been named General Counsel and Assistant
Secretary of Collagen Corp. Andros joins Collagen from the
law firm of Lillick & Charles in San Francisco, and formerly
practiced with Warner & Stackpole in Boston. She has
extensive experience in the defense of corporate clients in
civil litigation, including product liability and commercial
matters. Andros is a graduate of the Northeastern University
School of Law and Tufts University.
