Collaborative Technologies Conference Announces Call for Submissions for 2006 Event.
WHAT: The 2006 Collaborative Technologies Conference will showcase
the tools and strategies that will shape the future of
business communications. CTC is the industry's only
comprehensive conference and trade show focused exclusively
on real time collaboration technologies, and will provide
solutions to allow businesses to create a real time
workforce and increase interactivity with workgroups,
partners and customers. The Collaborative Technologies
Conference (www.ctcevents.com) will take place June 19-22,
2006 at the Seaport Hotel, Boston, Mass.
WHO: Executives from the IP communications industry and customer
end-users who have effectively deployed collaboration
solutions are invited to share their best practices and
customer stories, as well as address relative industry
topics at the Collaborative Technologies Conference.
Businesses of all sizes from a variety of vertical
industries are encouraged to describe their experiences and
challenges of implementing real time collaboration tools and
technologies for their distributed workforces.
WHY: The collaboration market is set to emerge on a steady growth
path. This is due to the emergence of new robust
technologies, an increase in technological advances,
economic pressures and social dynamics. 50% of enterprise
organizations have converged networks and a growing
percentage of the US workforce is spending 20% of time away
from the office. Collaboration succeeds when the
technologies are well-matched to the user needs and the
business processes. Now, in its second year, the
Collaborative Technologies Conference goes beyond an
exploration of the available tools and addresses the
practical aspects of implementing collaborative technologies
in a business context, given the relevant human, social and
business process factors. Among the technologies covered at
the Collaborative Technologies Conference will be instant
messaging (IM), integrated communications environments, team
collaboration workspaces and voice, video and web
conferencing. Topics will include security, compliance, ROI
metrics, business processes and the social and human
implications of collaboration technologies.
HOW: Speaking proposals will be accepted by completing the form
at http://secure.ctcevents.com/2006/portal/cfp/home.ww. For
information on speaking at CTC 2006, sponsorship or partner
opportunities, contact Jennifer Pahlka, Collaborative
Technologies Conference General Manager, at
jennifer.pahlka@mlii.com.
WHEN: The deadline for proposals is December 16, 2005.
