), April 1-5, 2007 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif. The Power.org booth (#1216), prominently located at the main exhibit entrance, will complement Power.org members' individual booth exhibits and demonstrate the growing momentum of collaborative solutions that combine commercially available hardware and software as the foundation for Power Architecture platforms.

The Power.org booth will have areas that showcase and demonstrate collaborative Power Architecture solutions, including a specific area where Power.org will highlight its own technical work. There is also an area for hands-on activity, playing with popular game platforms based on Power Architecture technology.

"This year's ESC is clearly a Power Architecture event, with 21 individual companies demonstrating and many announcing solutions based on Power Architecture technology," said Glenn Beck, Marketing Committee Chair for Power.org. "Power.org will also be displaying our technical committee work, showing how our efforts will result in solution components that work better together, minimizing integration, upgrade, and maintenance issues for developers."

The Power.org booth includes:

* AMCC will showcase an Enterprise Wireless Access Point Router using an AMCC PPC See Pocket PC, PowerPC and pay-per-click.

* AMCC and Kozio will showcase their PPC440GX evaluation kit along with Kozio's system-level diagnostics. The "Taishan" board includes the award winning, high performance PPC440GX embedded processor and integrated, menu-driven diagnostics from Kozio.

* Power Architecture processors consistently rank as top performers on industry-leading benchmarks - find out why from AMCC, EEMBC EEMBC EDN Embedded Microprocessor Benchmark Consortium (Electronic Design News Magazine) , Freescale, Green Hills, and IBM. A demonstration of the new EEMBC EnergyBench[TM] process will also be shown. EnergyBench provides data on the amount of energy a processor consumes while running EEMBC's performance benchmarks.

* EVE, a leader in hardware assisted verification, will showcase its ZeBu-UF (for Zero Bugs) solution for Power Architecture technology, allowing emulated designs to be validated in the megahertz One million cycles per second. See MHz.

* Freescale and IPextreme will showcase the Power Architecture e200 core family, now available through IP licensing specialist IPextreme. More than one million 32-bit automotive MCUs built on Power Architecture e200 cores have been shipped with zero-defect quality. The e200 core family technology is now easy to license, integrate and deploy.

* Freescale and Wind River will demonstrate how the Power Architecture MPC5200 platform drives fast development for in-car infotainment leveraging reliable, scalable hard real-time OS.

* A dual-core multiprocessing demonstration will be brought to you by Freescale and Wind River featuring the MPC8641D dual-core processor built on Power Architecture technology. Wind River has wide existing support for the MPC8641D, including Wind River[R] Workbench for multi-core-aware debugging, VxWorks and Wind River Linux.

* IBM will showcase their Power Architecture core licensing offerings.

* IBM's Rational Software will showcase their newly launched integrated development and testing solution with IBM Rational Systems Developer (RSD RSD Reflex sympathetic dystrophy, see there ) and IBM Rational Test RealTime (TestRT), helping customers improve the quality of their products. IBM Rational Software provides an integrated lifecycle system development solution focused on embedded and real-time systems.

* Terra Soft Solutions and IBM will demonstrate a PlayStation[R] 3, running Yellow Dog Linux Yellow Dog Linux (often abbreviated YDL) is a free software, open-source Linux distribution for Power Architecture hardware. It was first released in 1999 for the Apple Inc. Macintosh.  functioning as a Linux based workstation. With the addition of MythTV the unit will also function as a Digital Video Recorder See DVR. .

* Mercury Computer Systems will show a Cell BE processor based product.

* Rapport, Inc. will demonstrate massively parallel Kilocore[TM] technology with commercially available extremely low-power chips and integrated development platform including software tools; and is developing next-generation chips incorporating Power Architecture[TM] technology.
