Nokia and Sendit Collaborate to Offer Solutions for Mobile

Internet

Nokia Telecommunications, the leader in GSM wireless Internet system solutions, and Sendit, a fast growing supplier of Internet messaging platforms for cellular network operators, today agreed to collaborate and coordinate their product plans for Sendit's mobile-based e-messaging platform ICSA See TruSecure.  and Nokia's wireless Internet systems.

Nokia and Sendit have agreed on compatible interfaces enabling ICSA and Nokia's Internet system to form a seamless solution for advanced mobile e-mail service See Internet e-mail service.  including notification of received mail. Nokia sees electronic mail offered as a public network as an important opportunity for wireless operators to harness the quickly growing business user need to access Internet. "Our cooperation with Sendit is in line with Nokia s objective to work with industry innovators to develop Internet-based solutions that add value to our operator customers' networks."
