IT'S the stuff nightmares are made of - one of the women sued over the Colin Farrell sex tape scandal has joined America's biggest reality TV show.

The Dubliner was shocked to discover busty former Miss Ohio Candace Smith could be set to spill the beans on him in front of 40 million viewers in the the US.

In Bruges star Farrell took the case against Candace in 2006 alleging she was one of the people behind attempts to sell a tape of him with her pal Nicole Narain.

The case was dismissed a month later but Farrell, 32, was left reeling from the incident - and he failed to stop the embarrassing sex video hitting the internet.

Now the father of one, who is based permanently in LA, will have to suffer a painful reminder of the sex tape scandal as Candace appears throughout the eightweek run on Survivor.

A source close to Farrell revealed: "He is not at all happy about this - it's a part of his past he wants to forget. There's no doubt that Candace has used her infamy from the sex tape scandal to help her land a place on the show.

"He is convinced she is going to mention it because it's the only thing she is really famous for. Colin is a changed man since those days and he's embarrassed about the whole thing.

"The video is still on the internet and the last thing he wants is hype building around it again."

Survivor pits a group of contestants against each other on an island.

The women spend most of their time in bikinis and they are encouraged to divulge all about their pasts and personal lives. Candace admits she is a "bitch" in her show biography.
