Kristen Farley of Brooklyn's Poly Prep arrived late and ran in the last heat of the 1500 meters, where she lapped her competitors and crossed the tape first in 4:49. National champion Janean Morris of Brooklyn's Bishop Loughlin was also in top form for an early season meet. She took the 800 meters in 2:19.2. Her mother Alethea Morris took first in the 30's Plus Division 200 meters with a very fast 26.6, a better time than the College/Open Division's 200 meters winner Fateen Boaith who placed first in 26.7.
