Ceriello to the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people. , effective immediately. Ms. Ceriello joined Brooklyn Union in 1980, one of KeySpan's predecessor companies, as a management trainee in the Corporate Planning Department, where she rose to the position of Director of Economic Analysis. She then moved to the Company's Rate Recovery Area, where she was promoted to the level of Manager overseeing the Company's regulatory strategy with the New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of State Public Service Commission. She then joined the Company's Information Technology Group where she held several key manager positions, focused on strategic direction. In 1996, Ms. Ceriello moved to the Strategic Planning Area where she was promoted to General Manager. Following the merger with the Long Island Lighting Company in 1998, she was responsible for managing the Company's Corporate Planning and Performance Area.
