:COLV), an Oklahoma City-based manufacturer of personal computers, announced Monday that the Government Services Administration (GSA) has awarded it a Federal Supply Schedule for computer systems. With this announcement, Cole Computer becomes one of the first in the nation to offer AMD Athlon processor-based systems on the GSA schedule.

The GSA, the government agency that sets procurement policy for the federal government, has awarded Cole Computer Corporation a five-year contract to sell computers, including systems based on the seventh generation Advanced Micro Devices AMD Athlon(TM) processor, to federal agencies across the nation. The GSA awards contracts for goods and services In economics, economic output is divided into physical goods and intangible services. Consumption of goods and services is assumed to produce utility (unless the "good" is a "bad"). It is often used when referring to a Goods and Services Tax.  to qualified vendors based upon a negotiated price structure, among many other factors. This contract informs government agencies searching for parts and services that the GSA has set a fair price and ensured certain business factors. This eliminates many of the troubles associated with the bidding process and makes purchasing from Cole Computer Corporation much easier for any local, state or federal government agency.
