Coldest night; Your LETTERS.

LAST week some parts of Britain endured the coldest April night on record.

The global high temperature record has not been broken since 1998 and has flatlined from 2001 to 2006; it then fell dramatically in 2007. Through all of this time carbon dioxide carbon dioxide, chemical compound, CO2, a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas that is about one and one-half times as dense as air under ordinary conditions of temperature and pressure.  (CO2) has increased relentlessly.

Man made "global warming global warming, the gradual increase of the temperature of the earth's lower atmosphere as a result of the increase in greenhouse gases since the Industrial Revolution. " either did not exist, or the indication is that it has stopped. It certainly is not driven only by CO2, and yet huge sums of money are being removed from electricity consumers to fund uneconomic wind turbines on the outrageous premise that they will stop the weather getting warmer.

Not surprisingly, some have called them the WMDs of the landscape.
