Stirling v Dundee

COLIN McMENAMIN Colin McMenamin (born 12 February, 1981 in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays with Scottish club Gretna. He plays as a striker.

Beginning his career in 1999 at Dumfries and Galloway club Annan Athletic, one of the top Scottish non-league clubs, he was
 last night warned disgruntled Dundee fans to back off.

Jocky Scott's big-spenders got booed after drawing 1-1 at Airdrie last weekend.

Now they will attempt to spring back to form in today's cup clash at Stirling.

Dens hitman McMenamin said: "The criticism probably has been a bit over the top.

"I'm not one of those guys who goes on to the internet boards after games and reads the criticism but a couple of the younger lads have been on them and by all accounts the fans have been giving us it really bad.

"But we've got a chance to get to a semi-final so we don't need much more incentive than that."
