Coke is no joke. When I read "All That Glitters ... " [Special Report, O/N '07], I was speechless. Last December, one of my sister's best friends died from a cocaine overdose. It turns out the friend had been addicted to cocaine for a few years. My sister and a teacher tried to get her into treatment, but she refused any help. She was 17 when she died. I'm glad you've alerted others to the dangers of cocaine.--Ali T. Thank you for running "All That Glitters." One of my friends does drugs, and the rest of us have ignored it like it was no big deal. After reading the article, I know this is really serious. Now, I can talk to my friend about getting help. --Alyssa |
