Coke and a frown.Chennai, India The Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited, a subsidiary of the U.S.-based Coca-Cola Company, has threatened one of India's most prominent artists with a lawsuit if he doesn't remove a billboard. On July 11, Coca-Cola warned that it was seeking about $45,000 from Haksar for "incalculable in·cal·cu·la·ble adj. 1. a. Impossible to calculate: a mass of incalculable figures. b. Too great to be calculated or reckoned: incalculable wealth. damage to the goodwill and reputation of Coca-Cola." The company sought a written apology apology [Gr.,=defense], literary work that defends, justifies, or clarifies an author's ideas or point of view. Unlike the ordinary use of the word, the literary use neither implies that wrong has been done nor expresses regret. . Haksar says he will not oblige because he has not done anything wrong.
