Breakthrough Retailer Benefits

Coinstar Inc.'s new turnkey service offers an easy way for the retailer to sell prepaid products that require no store involvement, no training, no product inventory, minimal floor space, no tie-up at the checkout and the elimination of loss and theft. Coinstar offers free placement, installation and maintenance of the cash accepting, TOP-UP(TM) kiosk. It requires only two square feet of floor space, a phone line and electricity to operate. Store partners receive a revenue share on all products sold through the TOP-UP(TM) kiosk.

The TOP-UP(TM) kiosks are the first offering for convenience store outlets from Coinstar Inc., the leader in self-service supermarket-based coin counting machines. The company already provides kiosks in more than 10,000 major grocery stores, with a history of 225 million automated point-of-sale transactions in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.

Diverse Product Line

The Coinstar self-service kiosk is a gateway to a broad range of consumer prepaid products. Coinstar offers TOP-UP(TM) services such as bill payment, cell phone mobile content (ring tones, games and graphics), online computer game time, prepaid wireless, prepaid long distance and prepaid Internet. In late November the latest addition to the prepaid line will be the Truth(R) Prepaid MasterCard(R) Card. Future products may be added seamlessly via remote download from Coinstar at no charge to the retailer.
