Cohu's Delta Design Unit Selected as Primary Supplier.

Cohu, Inc. (NASDAQ:COHU) today announced that its Delta Design unit has been selected by Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) as the primary supplier of pick-and-place handling equipment for their worldwide final test operations.

"Delta Design's pick-and-place product line meets all the requirements that we are faced with in today's challenging environment," said Kingsley Wong, Texas Instruments Director of World Wide Assembly/Test Operations Support. "Delta's Castle handler is a good solution for TI's high volume production environment because of its tri-temperature and wide parallel test handling capability. We're also using the Summit handler for TI's high performance logic applications because of its power dissipation technology."

The agreement is another step in a close collaboration between Delta Design and Texas Instruments. "We are proud to have been selected as a key supplier by Texas Instruments," said James A.
