Cohera Corporation Announces Appointment of Michael Stonebraker to Board of Directors of Securities Industry Middleware Council; Dr. Stonebraker Keynotes SIMC General Meeting.

Cohera Corporation, the leading provider of Data Federation Systems (DFS), today announced that Dr. Michael Stonebraker, founder and chief technology officer of Cohera Corporation, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Securities Industry Middleware Council, Inc. (SIMC).

The Securities Industry Middleware Council, Inc. (http://www.simc-inc.org) is an organization devoted to improving Information Technology used by the Securities Industry. The 11-member Board, composed of experts from the financial services and information technology industries, will guide SIMC as it moves forward to address increasingly complex industry requirements. The board members include technologists, business leaders, and educators who have significant experience in the application of Information Technology in support of complex and critical businesses.
