Real Estate announced the sale of Ashbridge Square, a 360,000 s/ f regional shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into  d in Downingtown, Pennsylvania Downingtown is a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania, 33 miles (53 km) west of Philadelphia. Downingtown has been in existence since the early 1700s and boasts a number of historic buildings and structures. .

Vera Thomas, Senior Managing Director of CCIRE represented the seller, a developer who built the property in 2000. Phyllis Bosworth, Managing Director of CCIRE, represented the Purchaser, a limited partnership.

Ashbridge Square is anchored by a free-standing 145,485 s/f Home Depot, a 46,726 s/f Croppers Market, whose parent company is AWI AWI Armstrong World Industries, Inc (Lancaster, PA)
