In addition to his service as President, Rau represented TEI on the Commissioner's Advisory Group as well as on a congressional task force on penalty reform. He also served in a number of capacities at the chapter and Institute level, including president of the Wisconsin Chapter and chair of the Federal Tax Committee. Jim Hutchison retired recently from Trizec Corporation. During his nearly two decades of membership, he not only chaired the three committees listed above, but also served as president of the Toronto Chapter, regional vice president, and a member of the Executive Committee.
