Cognizin Citicoline improves cognitive performance and brain chemistry.

A study led by Deborah Yurgelun-Todd, PhD, applying two complementary imaging methods, magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), to document the effects of Cognizin Citicoline on the human brain in healthy volunteers was recently completed at McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Yurgelun-Todd, director of the Cognitive Neuroimaging and Neuropsychology Laboratories at the McLean Hospital Brain Imaging Center and associate professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, found that after 6 weeks of Cognizin use, energy stores within the brain were increased. The clinical study using neuroimaging data also showed increased concentration, focus and improved accuracy, better performance and improved speed on cognitive tasks.

Cognizin Citicoline is the premier branded ingredient manufactured by Kyowa Hakko USA. Citicoline has been used extensively for the promotion of optimal neural and cognitive function.
