Cognizant is a strategic partner for TriZetto's Facets(R), the industry leading managed care administrative application for healthcare payers. Cognizant will now expand its relationship with TriZetto by providing integration and development support for additional software products, including HealthWeb(R), TriZetto's Internet platform; QicLink(TM), the leading application for benefits administrators; NetworX(TM), a powerful claims-repricing system; and TriZetto HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191) Also known as the "Kennedy-Kassebaum Act," this U.S. law protects employees' health insurance coverage when they change or lose their jobs (Title I) and provides standards for patient health,  Gateway(TM), an application that receives, routes, stores and queries electronic transactions in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) was enacted by the U.S. Congress in 1996.
