Cognis: has appointed Eduardo Caballero as I&I technology manager for the NAFTA region. He will provide technical support to the newly-created I&I team and promote the use of Cognis' green technologies to this growing market. Mr. Caballero has extensive experience in institutional, industrial, home care and personal care formulations and raw materials, most recently with Croda as a research manager.

David Weiss joined Cognis as senior manager technology with 30 years of laboratory and managerial experience in personal care product R&D. Mr. Weiss has held positions as product development manager and assistant director R&D for the branded consumer products of the international divisions of Sterling Drug, Inc. and American Home Products, Inc.

Ying O'Connor has been recently appointed to the position of technical project manager for the hair, body and oral group of Cognis Care Chemicals. She holds a masters of science degree in organic chemistry from The University of Albany.
