Therma-Wave integrates the Cognex vision systems into its Opti-Probe equipment, which is used to measure the thickness of films placed on semiconductor wafers during manufacturing. The Cognex vision systems are used to automatically align each semiconductor wafer prior to thin film measurement to ensure accurate results.
