Cogent Healthcare Promotes Dr. Holman to Senior Vice President; As SVP, Holman Will Provide a Higher Level of Leadership Focused on Medical Operations.

IRVINE, Calif. -- Cogent Healthcare today announced that Russell Holman, M.D., has been promoted to Senior Vice President. He will also continue in his current role as National Medical Director. The promotion is effective January 2006. In his new role, he will provide more focus on the overall medical operations of the organization, which builds and manages hospitalist programs for hospitals throughout the country. Dr. Holman will continue to report to Chief Medical Officer, Ron Greeno, M.D.

Dr. Holman will direct all physician development and medical operations, providing a stronger connection to the healthcare delivery of all Cogent hospitalist programs and senior leadership in the company. All physicians in the organization will ultimately report to Dr. Holman.
