Coffee and cakes will be part of push for charity.A COFFEE morning and table-top sale in aid of the National Stroke Association will be held at St James' Church in School Road, Bulkington, tomorrow, from 10am until noon. It will include home-made cakes, tombola, plants, bric-a-brac and toys. Collections from Sunday's All Age Worship service, at 10am, and the Holy Communion service the celebration of the Lord's supper, or the office or service therefor. To make a contribution to a fund or cause. to the charity, which is the church's chosen charity for the year. At the evening service, a representative from the National Stroke Association will speak about its work. Everyone is welcome. |
