) announced today that it has appointed Mr. Paul Khakshouri, a director, as the new Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president.
 effective October 15, 2007. Mr. Khakshouri's additional duties and responsibilities include managing investor communication, liaison with coffee farmers in Jamaica, Columbia, Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador, and incorporating them in the "Growers Direct" distribution system under the "Tree to Cup" umbrella.
